Independence Visitor Center

Located in Independence National Historical Park, the Independence Visitor Center is the official visitor center of the greater Philadelphia region.

All visitors are welcome to speak with our friendly, multilingual staff for help with planning their time, or to purchase admission for local tours, attractions, and museums. Here, visitors can also purchase passes to ride the Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop (runs seasonally), and on SEPTA, including a One-Day Convenience Pass and the SEPTA Key, a re-loadable plastic card for fares.

Independence Visitor Center is also home to Independence Gift Shop, the official gift shop of Greater Philadelphia. 

Free services and amenities include: maps and brochures, including the Official Visitors Guide (published in nine languages), and the Historic Philadelphia Gazette; WiFi access; and public restrooms.
