The Independence Visitor Center Corporation (IVCC) is a private, non-profit organization that supports the hospitality and tourism industries and promotes the diverse historical, cultural, entertainment, and leisure aspects of the five-county Greater Philadelphia region, which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Visitor Experience Associate (VEA)
The IVCC has multiple opportunities available for its Visitor Experience Associate (VEA) position. The ideal candidate is attentive, outgoing, and energetic, with a background and interest in tourism and hospitality. The VEA provides excellent, personalized customer service as the first impression for 2.5 million visitors who start their trip at the Visitor Center each year.  The VEA is responsible for greeting visitors, responding to questions, identifying and fulfilling customer needs, selling tickets to more than 100 local tours and attractions, resolving customer complaints or issues, and maintaining a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment, among other duties.

Tourism Surveyor 
The IVCC works with Econsult Solutions, Inc. to conduct surveying of visitors inside Independence Visitor Center and onboard Philly PHLASH, to better understand the profile of tourists to Philadelphia, visitors of the Independence Visitor Center, and riders of the PHLASH, and ultimately better serve tourists and visitors. Tourism Surveyors greet visitors and ask questions about their trip to Philadelphia, how long they are staying, and their origin of travel using an iPad. Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age; and have previous experience in customer service.
