Bishop White House
The Rev. Dr. William White was a beloved rector of Christ Church and St. Peter's Church for many years. He was the first Episcopal Bishop of Pennsylvania, and lived in this house from the time it was built in 1787 until his death in 1836.
The Bishop White House is open by Park Ranger-led tour only. Free, timed tickets are available on the day of your visit at the Independence Visitor Center. Tours are limited to 10 people, and tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The tour takes approximately one hour and includes the Todd House.
