Declaration House

No visit to Independence Hall is complete without taking a trip to the Graff House where in June of 1776, Thomas Jefferson rented two rooms here to draft the Declaration of Independence.The first floor contains exhibits and a short film on the drafting of the Declaration. On the second floor, the bedroom and parlor that Jefferson occupied have been recreated and contain period furnishings. Learn more about this and other buildings in Independence National Historical Park at
