This immersive exhibition, now open at The Franklin Institute, features more than 300 original artifacts, including some of Marvel’s most iconic costumes, props, and original art.
Exhibit highlights include: life-size comic book scenes; iconic props and costumes, including those worn by Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther, Chris Hemsworth in Thor, and Chris Evans in Captain America; rare, hand-drawn images of Spider-Man, The Black Panther, and Captain America by the artists who first designed them; hand-drawn original comic art by some of Marvel’s most admired creators, including Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, John Byrne, and Frank Miller; and exclusively commissioned original paintings by fan favorites Steve Rude, Esad Ribic, and Jenny Frison.
Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes makes its East Coast debut in Philadelphia during Marvel’s 80th anniversary year, immediately following the traveling exhibit's world premiere at in Seattle, which drew more than 300,000 visitors.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Independence Visitor Center, for an additional cost from general admission to The Franklin Institute.
