The Army-Navy Game

On Saturday, December 9, the Army-Navy Game returns to play in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field. Held in multiple locations, the city that the Army-Navy game has been played most frequently is Philadelphia, where it returns for its 117th match-up in 2017.

The Army–Navy Game is one of the most traditional and enduring rivalries in college football, between the Army Black Knights of the United States Military Academy and the Navy Midshipmen (Cadets) of the United States Naval Academy. The game has been nationally televised since 1945, and frequently attended by sitting U.S. presidents.

Before the main Army-Navy showdown at Lincoln Financial Field, the two groups will face off in a series of games, some taking place right on Independence Mall, called the Patriot Games, a spectacular two-day competition. Points are entered through five events, including the Rocky Relay, pull-up challenge, tug-of-war, and a leadership reaction obstacle course. The team with the most points will be presented with the Patriot Games trophy on the field during the Army-Navy Game.

Deal Alert: Army-Navy game ticket holders can receive $2.00 off admission at the Museum of the American Revolution, valid December 4 - 10, 2017.
