FREE RIDES ONBOARD THE PHILLY PHLASH

PHILADELPHIA, April 20, 2017 – The Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop™ will join the Museum of the American Revolution in celebrating its opening weekend by offering free single rides onboard the PHLASH to those that present their Museum of the American Revolution admission ticket to the driver April 21-23.

Celebrate with the PHLASH by riding FREE on opening day. Now in its 23rd year of service and sixth year under IVCC management, the Philly PHLASH has become an award-winning transportation service in downtown Philadelphia and a staple icon for visitors and locals alike.

The Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop Shifts into High Gear for the 2017 Season After Breaking Ridership Records in 2016

WHO:  Operated by the Independence Visitor Center Corporation (IVCC), the Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop is the quick, convenient, and affordable way to access popular attractions throughout Philadelphia. The transit service includes 22 stops from the Delaware River Waterfront to Fairmount Park. It operates 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., providing service to each stop every 15 minutes.

RENOVATIONS UNDERWAY AT THE VISITOR CENTER

PHILADELPHIA, March 2, 2017 – The Visitor Experience Improvement Project (VEIP) has begun at the Independence Visitor Center. Fencing is visible adjacent to the building along Market Street. All entrances to the Visitor Center are open and it will continue to operate without interruption of normal business hours.
