Second Bank of the United States
This Greek revival building by William Strickland was once home to the Second Bank of the United States. It now stands as a revolutionary-era portrait gallery by artists such as Charles Willson Peale and Gilbert Stuart. Through its vast collection, "People of Independence," visitors can see Colonial and Federal leaders, military officers, explorers, scientists and signers of the Declaration of Independence.
